New Company… New Repose® ... the UK’s most frequently used pressure redistribution mattress

Since it’s inception at the University Hospital of Wales Repose® has contributed to the successful treatment of more than 1 million NHS patients and more patients are now treated on Repose® than any other pressure redistribution mattress in the UK. Repose® is an integral part of pressure ulcer prevention and treatment protocols across Europe. The NHS continues to benefit from royalties deriving from this invention.

The New Repose® range incorporates a new blue base to the existing mattress and cushion cover. Manufactured from the same Platilon® a moisture vapour permeable and inert material providing a non-allergenic, soft and smooth surface which minimises friction at the surface interface, reducing sheer and consequential tissue damage. The introduction of the new blue colour to the base of the cover is in response to users and client requests to help reduce the appearance of staining or discolouration.
